The Planning Team for the Suicide Awareness Program is closely monitoring the situation with the Coronavirus COVID-19 disease. If public health considerations permit, the Planning Team hopes to hold the program on April 28, 2020, from 2 pm – 5 pm; however, the Planning Team is still considering a variety of factors to determine whether to hold the program on this date and if yes, the best manner in which to do so.

The members of the planning team for the program are Judge Clyde L. Reese III, Court of Appeals of Georgia (State Bar of Georgia SOLACE Committee Co-Chair); Judge Render Heard, Tifton County Juvenile Court (State Bar of Georgia SOLACE Committee Co-Chair), Judge Shondeana Crews Morris (State Bar of Georgia Suicide Prevention Committee Chair) and Mr. Joe Chancey (Managing Partner, Drew Eckl Farnham). Staff support is being provided by Ms. Karlise Y. Grier, Ms. Bonne Cella, and Ms. Layne Bridges.
Registration to attend the program may open soon.
- The cost to attend the program is $25 for any Member of the State Bar of Georgia who wants CLE credit.
- The program is $0 for any lawyer who does not want CLE credit and for any other persons wishing to attend.
