The Chief Justice's Commission on Professionalism
will host a Convocation on
Professionalism and the Rule of Law
The Chief Justice’s Commission on Professionalism will host a CLE Convocation on Professionalism and the Rule of Law on Friday, October 30, 2026, between 9:00 a.m. – 5 p.m., at the State Bar of Georgia Atlanta Headquarters. The cost of the CLE Convocation will include breakfast, lunch, and a reception immediately following the CLE Convocation. The CLE Convocation will examine the intersection of professionalism and the Rule of Law, and consider the professionalism impetus for Georgia lawyers to help sustain the Rule of Law. Chief Justice Nels S. D. Peterson will provide opening remarks.

The CLE is approved in Georgia for 4 hours of CLE credit, including 2 hours of professionalism CLE credit. The cost to attend the CLE in person is $25, which includes the cost of the CLE credit, the lunch, and the reception. A live webcast of the CLE will also be available for $50.
